Where it all started, three artists on a painting trip to Hill End and a few drinks at the pub – the idea to do a show together was born! ‘A Wilful, Lavish Land’ opens Saturday 9 December at the Creative Arts Centre in Gunnedah. The title is taken from a line in Dorothea Mackellar’s famous poem, ‘My Country’.  The exhibition is a group show with two of my favourite artists – Frances Feasey and Emily Simson.
